About
This album is inspired by the Cosmos and processes inside where everything is about patterns. Look at the cycles from birth to death and death to birth, consider the shapes in the nature, the atoms and solar systems, galaxies.... You will see much of self-similarity here. All these shapes and processes are beautiful, soulful and very inspiring. By exploring this beauty we can develop our souls which is one of the universal senses of life at all, I think.
Big thanks and hugs to my partner Lucie! The beautiful voice you will hear on the album is her.
Big thanks to Fat Cat (http://www.fatcat.cz), my close friend.
I'm looking forward for feedback from you in the e-mail or on Last.FM.

Reviews
Epic is the word that springs to mind when you listen to this masterpiece from ambientium.
hailing from the czech republic, ambientium is a talented duo who asked if kahvi would like to put out their latest album, fractal philosophy.
so, here is the end result in all its high quality, enjoyable finality. ambient beginnings with hadron era lead you into pleasing swirling textures and beat driven (solar fields styled) tracks which wouldn't be out of place in the ultimae catalogue.
tracks to watch out for are another world (part 1 and 2) and europa. welcome to kahvi, ambientium and lets see another release from you in the future!
This is a release that shows just how good a lot of the free net releases can be. This sounds spacey and deep with a lot little psychedelic sounds, nice melodies and sci-fi imagery. This sounds a little like Distant System – Spiral Empire and could have appeared on Ultimae Records. The production is not quite up to the standard of the aforementioned musicians though and it would be nice to hear this remastered and have a few things tweaked. Occasionally the intro of a track doesn’t flow well into the rest of it and sometime the changes in direction are a little abrupt but overall I am very impressed by this album. It has what is more important to me than production, it has ideas and great ideas at that. This is a very visual album and while listening to it I am taken on a journey through outer space, passed dust clouds onto alien planets, being abducted by aliens & floating down along the length of a huge spaceship.
This album also has a lot of different styles mixed in together, there is a lot that sounds deep and bassy like many Ultimae albums, there is also a lot of melodic tracks with even some glitchy ones, ambient ones, natural sounds and mechanical sounds and even one track that is a little bit on the cheesy side. Despite all these styles though this is best listened to as a whole as it’s a good journey better on headphones without any distractions.
Ambient/IDM releases are generally tricky things. They can range from headache inducing noise-nonsense that plagues many netlabels, to the literal redefinition of what music can sound like. I wont go so far as to say that this is the latter, but I am pleased to say that this proves that there are still fresh IDM releases that can be total listening experiences.
Everything starts out interestingly enough, with FSOL'esque subtle and foreboding noises and crashes (obviously in relation to a particle collider) that slowly shifts into more brilliant and beautiful soundscapes that touch upon something much lighter and illuminating. From the funk inspired infinitum, to the truly mellow and masterful "another world part 2", you suddenly find yourself not listening to just a another release, but taking a musical journey. Truly a masterpiece that will be favorited by many. I only hope we get to see our Czech friend again in the future!!
Gut so. Also, wenn man würde… Na, ihr wisst schon.
What you get when you download the album is ten tracks of ambient and electronic music with a clear spiritual touch which tells the unusual vivid imaginative progression of the universe. From the beginning to the now. It takes off with the track Hadron Era trough the subsequently nine breathing stations with the final destination of Home.
In the beginning it is composed of loose and slightly bent out of shape ambient. As it continues it moves to the terrain on to more accessible electronica, only to later go back to realm of ambient again. As a listener you sense an underlying story in the journey. What that story is? That is up for you to find out and quite possibly create. As this album is less about songs and more about setting a mood it is best enjoyed in its totality. As a personal suggestion I can recommend it in unison with any kind of contemplative practice. Like mediation, prayer or just relaxation.
Bottom line is: Fractal Philosophy has personality. It is distinctly different and carefully blends the dreamy with the focused. It gently drifts along its soundscape and begs to be listened to with headphones to make you appreciate the subtleties and stereo panorama.
